By accessing or using any KIBU Global Ventures LLC product — including kibuglobal.com, TransitionCommand, and Going Out — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Some features require a Google account for sign-in. By signing in with Google, you authorize KIBU to access your basic Google profile information (name, email, profile photo) as described in our Privacy Policy.

TransitionCommand is available for a one-time purchase of $39.00 USD via the KIBU website (app.kibuglobal.com) or $3.99 USD via the Google Play Store. Prices are subject to change with notice. All payments are processed securely through Stripe or Google Play — KIBU does not store payment card information.
Upon purchase, KIBU grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use TransitionCommand on your personal devices. One purchase covers all your personal devices. You may not:
If you are not satisfied with TransitionCommand for any reason, contact us at support@kibuglobal.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked. Google Play purchases follow Google Play's refund policy.
KIBU will provide updates to TransitionCommand at our discretion. Significant updates adding new content will be provided free of charge to existing purchasers. We do not guarantee any specific update schedule. Basic email support is available at support@kibuglobal.com.
Website purchases deliver a license key by email. Keep this key — it may be required to access the app on new devices. If you lose your key, contact support@kibuglobal.com and we will reissue it upon identity verification.
Going Out is provided free of charge to all users. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future, but core event discovery functionality will remain free.
Going Out is supported by advertising through Google AdSense. By using Going Out, you agree to the display of advertisements. You will be presented with a consent banner for personalized advertising in compliance with GDPR. You may opt for non-personalized ads through the consent mechanism.
Event listings, dates, prices, and venue information in Going Out are provided for informational purposes only. KIBU does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of event information. Always verify event details directly with the organizer before traveling.
Going Out requests access to your device's location to show nearby events and calculate distances. Location permission is optional — you may use the app with a manually-entered base location. Location data is processed on your device and is not stored on KIBU servers.

All content, features, functionality, design, code, text, graphics, and data in KIBU's products are owned by KIBU Global Ventures LLC or its licensors and are protected by United States and international intellectual property laws.
The KIBU name, logo, "TransitionCommand," and "Going Out" are trademarks of KIBU Global Ventures LLC. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
Event photographs displayed in Going Out are sourced from Wikimedia Commons and are used under their respective licenses (typically Creative Commons). Photo attributions are displayed within the app.
User-submitted content (such as contact form messages) remains your property. By submitting it, you grant KIBU a license to use it for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.
Our products integrate with and link to third-party services including Google Maps, Stripe, Firebase, and others. These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. KIBU is not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.
When Going Out opens Google Maps for directions, you are subject to Google Maps' Terms of Service. When purchasing TransitionCommand via Stripe, you are subject to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Important: TransitionCommand provides general information and planning tools. It does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or official military advice. Always verify separation procedures, VA timelines, and benefit eligibility with official military and government sources (your installation's legal office, VA.gov, DFAS, etc.).
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
KIBU does not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KIBU Global Ventures LLC, its members, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid KIBU in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KIBU Global Ventures LLC and its members, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
KIBU may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using our services at any time. To delete your account and associated data, email support@kibuglobal.com with the subject "Delete My Account."
Upon termination, your license to use TransitionCommand is revoked. Purchased licenses are non-refundable after the 30-day money-back guarantee period except as required by applicable law.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
For EU/EEA consumers: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable EU consumer protection law, including the right to bring claims in the courts of your country of residence.
Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@kibuglobal.com to attempt informal resolution. We will respond within 10 business days and make good-faith efforts to resolve the issue.
Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules, conducted in Oklahoma, USA, except where prohibited by applicable law. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notification. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
For significant changes to paid service terms, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice.
